The “D” on the black hill has overlooked St. George since 1915. This year marks the 103rd Anniversary and D-Week will be one of the largest celebrations yet at Dixie State University! Come with your family and friends and enjoy a week packed full of fun celebratory events! The “D” on the hill is traditionally red during homecoming and D-week.

Friday April 6, 2018

8:00 pm

Movie in the Park | Innovation Plaza South Fields
Bring your friends, family and blankets for a fun viewing of the movie, Tangled at the South Innovation Plaza lawn! This cute, fun and heart-warming Disney movie is great for all ages and is a magical family-friendly film full of laughter. With free popcorn and treats it’s a great way to start your weekend and to get excited for the upcoming D-Week! Movie begins at dusk.

Kickoff | Holland Plaza
D Week starts on campus with free breakfast! Tables will be stationed outside of the Gardner Student Center, the Holland Plaza, and other areas around campus providing free breakfast and information about the many amazing events coming up during D Week!

Dixie Idol: Round 4 | Gardner Student Center Living Room
Dixie Idol is well under way! Come watch this year’s contestants as they seek to move one step closer to performing at the Finale and winning a cash prize!

6:00-8:00 PM

Brook’s Birthday | Lower Encampment Mall
Celebrate Brooks’ 2nd Birthday with food from local food trucks, cupcakes, and even a hot air balloon! Find the check in table to get your pass for free samples! Want more than samples? Each food truck will be providing full meal service so you can buy yourself a delicious dinner!
