History of the Alumni House

Thanks to generous private donations, the Alumni House was built in 1996 as an institutional residence for the college president. Donors contributing were: Boulevard Home Furnishings and the Wittwer Family; Dennis Carter Construction; Dixie College Foundation; Ruth McDonald; Dennis B. Patten, AIA; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sproul; Barbara and Leon Watson; and Wilkinson’s Electric, Inc

The Dixie State University Board of Trustees approved the use of the unoccupied institutional residence as the Alumni house. Today it is a welcoming gathering place for family, friends, and alumni for conferences, weddings, parties, reunions, and meetings.
